Terms of Use

Stewards is a tool to help you think and organize your work. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. AI responses can be incomplete or wrong; review anything important yourself and do not rely on Stewards as a substitute for professional judgment.

You are responsible for the content you put into Stewards and for how you use its output. Use of the Stewards Gateway is subject to its usage limits and any subscription terms. An invitation may ask for a card on file before AI access begins; nothing is charged to it until you choose a plan, and there are no automatic overage charges. Stewards chooses the AI model and the provider that runs it — Tinfoil, a confidential-inference provider, today — and may change either; the app names the model in use.

Your license to the app

Stewards grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Stewards app on devices you control, for your work. The app is licensed, not sold, and Stewards keeps every right in it that this license does not grant. The license ends if you break these terms; you end it by deleting the app.

You may not redistribute, sell, rent, lend, or sublicense the app, remove or alter its notices, or use the app or anything taken from it to build a product that competes with Stewards.

You may examine, decompile, and test the app to check how it handles your data, to look for security problems, and, where the law gives you that right, to achieve interoperability with other software. Good-faith security research on your own copy of the app and your own data, done without disturbing the service for anyone else, does not breach these terms; report what you find to support@askstewards.com and allow a reasonable time for a fix before you publish it.
